The NEA in collaboration with the Ontario Power Generation (OPG) organised a multi-sector workshop on 18-20 September 2024 on Local Intense Precipitation and its Impacts on Nuclear Installations.
The workshop brought together regulators and stakeholders, including engineers, meteorologists and other experts - also from non-nuclear fields - to address key issues and identify technology gaps.

The workshop was open to participants from the OECD member countries, the NEA member countries, and NEA strategic partners, invitees, and partner international organisations.
