This 4.5 day training course was taught in English by the MCNP development team, from LANL.

Holding a personal MCNP6.2 or later licence is mandatory for the course. The distributing centre is Radiation Safety Information Computational Center (RSICC). More information provided upon receipt of the registration form.

Programme

This introductory class formed the basis of the LANL-delivered MCNP class curriculum.

The provided examples were assembled, executed, and examined in real time.

Time was available to discuss individual questions and problems with MCNP experts.

If time permitted, details on more advanced features in the code may have been discussed at the attendees' request.

The class was based on version 6.2 or later of the MCNP code.

Payment information

Registration fees were refundable up to 18:00 CET Paris time on 12 January 2024. After this date, they will not be refunded.

Registrations were open until places run out. This course can only host 22 participants.
