The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) operates as a specialised agency of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an intergovernmental body based in Paris. The mission of the NEA is to assist its member countries in maintaining and further developing, through international co-operation, the scientific, technological and legal bases required for the safe, environmentally friendly and economical use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

This registration is to subscribe to the NEA electronic distributions and optionally (for NEA member countries only) to access the scientific databases for which a password will be issued.

Additional Database Access Registration
This section is for NEA Member Countries only

  • This section is to register to access the NEA Data Bank's restricted database services.
  • Other information files are not restricted.
  • Restricted services are only available to users in OECD/NEA member countries.
  • Special conditions for the Computer program services:
    • Computer Program requests and retrievals are NOT available to US and Canada who have equivalent services.
    • A co-operative agreement between OECD/NEA and IAEA allows non NEA member countries to receive certain codes.
  • National representatives to NEA are informed of the users registering from their country.

  Following the decision of the Nuclear Science Committee Executive Group in June 2002, all access restrictions to the NEA hosted databases (now including CINDA, EXFOR and EVA) have been removed. Hence users are no longer required to enter their username and password.
