Seminar on the Transfer of Knowledge Gained through CSNI Activities in the Field of Thermal-hydraulics

The objective of this seminar is to transfer the competence and experience acquired from CSNI activities carried out over the last two decades to specialists unfamiliar with the CSNI's work and newcomers to the field. The CSNI's work during this period has included: writing state-of-the-art reports; compiling computer code validation matrices; investigating user effects; studying uncertainty methods; co-ordinating international standard problem exercises; and organising specialist workshops. Managers and research planners in the nuclear safety field would also benefit from attending the seminar.
Expected benefits of the seminar
- The seminar will provide good transfer of knowledge summarised in CSNI documents to a wide nuclear safety community.
- The seminar will provide good transfer of experience and know-how from recognised experts who have been associated with CSNI activities for a long time.
