Working Group on Integrity of Components and Structures (IAGE) Ageing management of thick-walled concrete structures, including in-service inspections maintenance and repair, instrumentation methods and safety assessment in view of long-term operation Prague, Czech Republic 1-3 October 2008 Logistics Workshop participation As usual for OECD/NEA workshops, participation is open to experts from regulatory authorities and their technical support organisations, research organisations, nuclear power plant (NPP) owners and operators, NPP designers and vendors and industry associations and observers from OECD/NEA member countries. Nominations should be made through the NEA Secretariat of the Working Group on Integrity of Components and Structures (IAGE). Those wishing to make a presentation at the workshop should submit an abstract with their preliminary registration form. The meeting is open to a small number of experts from non-member countries. The participation of these experts will be co-ordinated by the NEA Secretariat. Registration Participants should complete the registration fee form by 5 September 2008. The Organising Committee will confirm the acceptance of workshop registration. Location and accommodation The workshop will be held in Prague, Czech Republic and organised by Nuclear Research Institute Rež plc. The workshop will take place at the Holiday Inn Prague Congress Centre Hotel. Workshop participants can book rooms at this hotel at a preferential rate by downloading the reservation form and submitting it to the hotel before 3 September 2008. Accomodation is also available at the Oya Hotel, through the workshop organisers: download the reservation form to book accommodation at this hotel. Language All presentations and discussions will be in English; a good command of the English language will therefore be necessary to fully benefit from the workshop. Papers Participants wishing to present papers shall submit an abstract (between 200 and 400 words). All abstracts should be submitted by 30 April 2008 using the registration form. (Note: All submitted abstracts and papers should be submitted electronically in MS Word and "times 11" font ). The Organising Committee will review the submitted abstracts and authors will be notified by 30 May 2008. Specific instructions for the format of papers will be provided to authors. Presentations should not exceed 20 minutes. Workshop proceedings The workshop proceedings will be published, including papers from the opening session, conclusions and recommendations from the discussion groups, a summary of all panel discussions and information papers submitted by workshop participants. Organising Committee The Organising Committee will organise the sessions and the final programme for the workshop.
