NEA Committees
The
Steering Committee for Nuclear Energy
The
Steering Committee for Nuclear Energy is the governing body of the Nuclear
Energy Agency. It meets twice a year. Its role is defined in the Statute
of the Agency.
The
Committee is composed of senior representatives of governments which
are Members of the Agency. The IAEA
and the EC are also represented.
The
Steering Committee approves the biennial programme of work of the NEA
and its budget, for submission to the OECD Council.
