3.
NATURE OF PHYSICAL PROBLEM SOLVED - This code analyzes alpha spectra measured by solid-state detectors to extract information on the peak intensities and energies. 4.
METHOD OF SOLUTION - The code performs peak search by the photopeak method, generates the line-shape function consisting of the first and/or second order and decomposes the peak compound by the function-minimizing fitting method using the line-shape function. 5.
RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM - Up to 4100 channels are accepted. The total number of peaks should not exceed 50 and the maximum multiplicity is 19. 6.
TYPICAL RUNNING TIME - The running time is less than 10 seconds for the case of a spectrum with medium complexity. 7.
UNUSUAL FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM - 8.
RELATED AND AUXILIARY PROGRAMS - 9.
STATUS 10.
