3. DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM OR FUNCTION - The program allows the user to verify the different types of covariance/correlation matrices used in the activation neutron spectrometry.

4. METHOD OF SOLUTION - The program performs the diagonalization of the input covariance/relative covariance/correlation matrices. The eigen values are then analyzed to determine the rank of the matrices. If the eigen vectors of the pertinent correlation matrix have also been calculated, the program can perform a complete factor analysis (generation of the factor matrix and its rotation in Kaiser's 'varimax' sense to select the origin of the correlations).

5. RESTRICTIONS ON THE COMPLEXITY OF THE PROBLEM - Matrix size is limited to 60 on PDP and to 100 on IBM PC/AT.
