DESCRIPTION OF TEST FACILITY - Westinghouse G2 loop test facility. 4.
DESCRIPTION OF TEST - Heat transfer measurements above two-phase mixture level under core uncovery conditions are carried out in a bundle of 336 heater rods. Heat transfer data obtained above the froth level from the bundle in PWR uncovery tests are evaluated. These data are compared with existing heat transfer correlations for core heat up. An appropriate heat transfer model for use in small-break loss-of-coolant accident analysis can be derived. 5.
